new blog

Hello world! It's about time we got a blog going, and I'm even going to put forth a valiant effort to post new stuff all the time! We post stuff on facebook often, but I think it would be better to do stuff like that on a blog too...that way we can say more :]

So hi, my name is Mitch, I'll be your host for this online record of our take over of the world...with my writing I like to use a pen-name, so don't be confused if I sign out as William Takeover...same person.

Mr. Justin Everything and I have been working with a side project for the past couple years and we are now taking it on full time. We are a band consisting of artists, musicians, poets, writers, etc...we call our community Starfish and the Sun. We have a book series that we will be releasing in conjunction with our musical albums, and I will be heading out on the road this fall to wherever the wind may take me. Currently we are looking at a west coast tour at the end of October to support the release of our first book. Still working on more tours through January, so tell us where you live and we'll try to come see you and paint with you!

We're working hard to put this out to the public because we believe in the ideas we are expressing. There is something happening on the planet...if you listen close enough you might be able to hear what is going on. Most of all, we want to meet as many people as possible and have as many awesome experiences as we can come across. Add us on facebook, our name is 'Starfish Sun' because it wouldn't accept 'and' or 'the' as a part of a name...haha...if you are a twitter person, add me @WillTakeOver  and you might see an occasional tweet, though I'm trying to get more involved on there...and most of all, STAY TUNED! We have a lot of big things in store, and we're excited to bring them to you in all the places you might be...a live painting session will be coming up soon, the website I've been using for those types of things is: www.stickam.com/WilliamTakeover...if you want to help us out, then please tell all your friends to check us out. Recording for our first release is coming up soon, we'll have some videos and who knows what else...

I'm pretty excited to start blogging again...I used to quite a bit, but thats because I was doing that instead of my homework back when I was younger...so bear with me as I break past my old age and get better at using the internet.
